French style wrist cuff

 This is a beautiful up cycled wrist cuff crafted from the sleeve of a  bargain  bin wedding gown.I took the wrist part of the sleeve and added the handcrafted velvet flowers. I used vintage lace, a vintage button, silk ribbon, to create the design of the cuff.

This is some detail of the finishing touches on the front of the cuff. The ribbon is silk and the lace applique has crystals hand sewn to the centers of each flower. This is so lovely, a great formal look, and so very  Chic with jeans and heels.

 My latest altered art journal, crafted from vintage and up cycled materials,  vintage lace. silk ribbon flowers and paper ephemera, with original art. This is the front page and features a transfer of a 17th century woman.

 This is the back and has some perrty vintage crochet, script fabric, up cycled materials and a darling stamped image of the oh so popular corset.

 Inside pages, you can see the vintage ephemera the pages were crafted from with plenty of room for journaling and, adding photos and tags.

On the left is a feature page, and has some gorgeous burnt velvet, vintage crochet, hand crafted flowers and a transfer image of Marie Antoinette. On the right is a pocket page with pink toile vintage lace and ruched ribbon. The tag in the pocket has room for a photo or journaling.

The left side here is a pocket page, this is a beautiful  graphic from the Graphic fairy, I transferred it to cloth and added vintage lace and my signature feather embroidery stitch. The right page is from a vintage book.

 Pretty in pink, this is a charming needle keep, hand crafted from dupioni silk, and covered with silk ribbon embroidery, add done by me.

 Close up of the silk ribbon flowers and the silk ribbon leaves, The blue flowers are crafted from the ever popular rayon seam binding. And the center pink rose is from a heavy silk ribbon.


The bottom pictures show the 2 leaves that hold the pins, they are stitched in a running stitch around the edges with pink silk ribbon, and the tiny bow is rayon seam binding.
